Medical Ascension is a healthcare pipeline program that aims to empower the community members by promoting educational advancement through academic opportunities, health promotion, leadership growth, and social development. The program provides health science opportunities to scholars from minority, underrepresented, and/or disadvantaged backgrounds in efforts to encourage students to pursue and complete postsecondary education requirements needed to serve their community as healthcare providers. Youth gain the opportunity to become Youth Diabetes Coaches Program for the friends, family, and community members.  Students gain real-world clinical skills through hands-on activities, demonstrations, 3D models, & simulations. Students have the opportunity to expand their health science knowledge and clinical experience.
